Hey all, just a bit of friendly chit-chat. I am happily astounded by the synchronicity of life, connectedness, or any of those overly long words that try and describe awe. A funny thing happened on the way to the blog....
Just a few things this past few days, five times I have turned the TV on, which I have done about eight times in three days in this household. Andrew Denton or Pamela Stephenson or James Lipton have been on the screen. I have enjoyed Andrew interviewing Anthony LaPaglia, Pamela interviewing Chris Langham and James interviewing Queen Latifah and Barbara Walters. The Chris Langham interview was on twice. That is so comforting to me. Three of my Top 10 just like that. To see the TRUTH in the face of Chris is wonderful and leads me to other interesting species thoughts like why someone like Jimmy Savile, who was documented by the equally truthful faced Louis Theroux, can be revered to the point of knighthood and Chris languishes. We are an interesting bunch.
Some other lovely link-ups have been that I Wikipedia'ed Andrew Denton after the re-watch of Anthony's interview to remind myself of the name of one of Andrew's most memorable guests for me. The guy who had to cut his own arm off when trapped while hiking. I did not find the episode. I found before that an episode I had never seen about metastatic cancer!!! With a beautiful, strong cancer patient Annie Robinson. I never knew this before, love you Andrew!
